The two-day virtual meeting kicked off today and will focus on discussion of policy proposals for NATO’s upcoming summit, the future of NATO presence in Afghanistan & Iraq, and assessing burden-sharing agreements. The meeting is one of the first international forays for Secretary Lloyd Austin, who was confirmed to lead the Department of Defense in January.
