Israeli Spacecraft Goes Out With A Bang

Published by : Wochit Tech
Israel's Beresheet was the first privately-funded mission to the moon.
Unfortunately, CNN reports the spacecraft didn't land. Instead, it crashed.
A successful soft landing would have made Israel the fourth country, and the smallest, to do so.
The $100 million spacecraft lost communications with the control room in Israel during the landing sequence.
At the time of the communications failure, the Beresheet was traveling at approximately 2,110 mph.
