As we move past the two-year mark of a global pandemic, and consider our global public health, what lies ahead for our families, communities, and our world at large? How do different countries fare in their own public health initiatives that contribute to global health? What diseases do they face and what kinds of resources are available and lacking? What factors in communities contribute to public health - access to water, a healthy environment, healthcare, and food? What are the barriers and inequities that exist in access to care globally? Dr. Manas Mandal, PhD, a Fulbright Scholar, Professor and expert in Immunology discusses these issues, and helpsprovide perspectives on how we as Americans contribute to global health and fare in comparison to other populations around the globe.
