Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has inked a deal to buy Twitter for US$44 billion, said on the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday that he would rid the platform of "bots and trolls."
"We're definitely on the warpath so if somebody is operating a bot and troll army then I'm definitely their enemy," he said.
The billionaire attended the glittering event with his mother, model Maye Musk, and spoke to reporters, telling them that he hoped his "good intention is not to pave the road to Hell."
