Siri has been terrible for a long, long time; however, Apple just released Shortcuts for iOS 12 which is an app that lets you automate your iPhone (be it a new iPhone XS Max, iPhone 5R, or an old iPhone 5S) to do cool commands. Think IFTTT, but for Siri. Create custom macros and shortcuts to control your smart home, automate annoying tasks on your iPhone, play fun text based games, and even control your Tesla!
