Catching a baseball at 1,500 consecutive MLB games!

Published by : Zack Hample
The last time I attended an MLB game and did NOT get at least one ball was back on September 2, 1993. Ever since then -- for the last 26 years -- I've never been shut out. There've been lots of close calls where I almost went home empty-handed, but Great American Ball Park is the stuff that dreams are made of. It's ball-catching paradise. There was no chance I'd get blanked here -- so many opportunities and so much fun! I caught batting practice home runs, got some toss-ups, played catch with one of the players, got recognized by a coach, and used my "glove trick." Here's a separate video about that device in case you want to try using it yourself:

I also got Ronald Acuna Jr.'s autograph, and I'm giving it away. Check me out on Instagram (@zack_hample) for all the details.

Also, FYI, every baseball that I catch this season is raising money for a children's baseball/softball charity. Here's my fundraiser:

This video in Cincinnati was filmed by Ian Perlman (@ianperlman) on April 23, 2019. It was edited by Chris Bruning (@iChrisbtv) and Bill Bruning (@billbruning). Thanks for watching!
