Authorities have advised residents affected by the flood waters across New South Wales to delay clean-up efforts as over 100mm of rain is expected to fall in the next coming days. First formed after the 2011 floods that ravaged Queensland, the Mud Army 2.0 has returned in a bid to help residents devastated by the most recent floodwaters. As the major clean-up begins across Brisbane this morning, more than 14,000 volunteers will help with 1,200 requests of assistance, sweeping out mud and removing heavy items onto the streets.
